HJ Cooper by Rinnai: everything covered for the first year. Inner cylinder replaced free of charge in years 2 to 5, and in years 6 to 10 — but from year 6 the removal, re-installation and labour are the owner’s cost.

Commercial installs get less. The figures above are for a single family dwelling. Renting the house out does not change that, and neither brand decides it by who lives there. What does change it is the use, or one cylinder serving more than one dwelling: a salon, a catering kitchen, a care facility, a block of flats on a single cylinder. In those cases the manufacturer's cover drops to Inner cylinder to 3 years, and the labour is yours from year 2.

The labour cover depends on who installs it. Manufacturers only honour it when the cylinder was connected by a licensed plumber. We are one, so if we fit it the full warranty stands.
