Commercial installs get less. The figures above are for a single family dwelling. Renting the house out does not change that, and neither brand decides it by who lives there. What does change it is the use, or one cylinder serving more than one dwelling: a salon, a catering kitchen, a care facility, a block of flats on a single cylinder. In those cases the manufacturer's cover drops to 3 year cylinder, 1 year cylinder labour, 1 year parts, 1 year on the sealed system.
The labour cover depends on who installs it. Manufacturers only honour it when the cylinder was connected by a licensed plumber. We are one, so if we fit it the full warranty stands.
