An all-in-one heat pump cylinder. The compressor sits on top of the tank, so the whole unit goes outside and the cupboard your old cylinder lived in comes back to you. Haier is supplied through Mico only, so you will not find this range in the big box stores.

Commercial installs get less. The figures above are for a single family dwelling. Renting the house out does not change that, and neither brand decides it by who lives there. What does change it is the use, or one cylinder serving more than one dwelling: a salon, a catering kitchen, a care facility, a block of flats on a single cylinder. In those cases the manufacturer's cover drops to 1 year on the cylinder and 1 year parts and labour.

The labour cover depends on who installs it. Manufacturers only honour it when the cylinder was connected by a licensed plumber. We are one, so if we fit it the full warranty stands.
